Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration projects from ECC to S/4HANA using standard SAP tools and methodologies
• Execute system conversion activities including planning, preparation, migration, and post-go-live support
• Perform pre-checks using SAP Readiness Check 2
• 0 and drive remediation actions
• Prepare and validate system landscape using Maintenance Planner
• Execute migrations using Software Update Manager (SUM) with DMO for database migration to SAP HANA
• Plan and execute mock runs and optimize downtime for business-critical systems
• Lead cutover planning and execution ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Perform post-migration validation including system health checks, job monitoring, dumps analysis, and performance tuning
• Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and business teams during migration lifecycle
• Handle large-scale SAP data center migration activities including system migration across geographies (US and Belgium data centers)
• Support migration of 300+ servers including application VMs, HANA databases, and other database systems
• Coordinate VM-based migrations using VMotion tools along with infrastructure vendors
• Execute database server rebuild activities on SAP HANA and RedHat OS environments
• Ensure system readiness, validation, and performance tuning post data center migration
• Monitor system stability and resolve issues during and after migration activities
• Provide support in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 system availability and issue resolution

Required Skills

• Strong SAP Basis experience with 8 to 14 years in administration and migration projects
• Candidates must have hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA system conversion (Brownfield approach)
• Experience with SUM with DMO is mandatory
• Experience in SAP data center migration and system relocation projects
• Good understanding of SAP HANA database, OS (Linux/RedHat), and infrastructure concepts
• Experience in handling large-scale landscapes with multiple servers and environments
• Knowledge of VM migration concepts such as VMotion and infrastructure coordination
• Strong troubleshooting skills during migration, upgrade, and post-migration phases
• Experience in executing mock runs, cutover planning, and downtime optimization
• Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams across regions
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
