SAP HCM Practice Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP HCM implementation, rollout, support, and transformation engagements
• Conduct client workshops for requirement gathering, process discovery, blueprinting, and solution design
• Lead SAP HCM configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities
• Design and oversee solutions across PA, OM, Time Management, India Payroll, ESS and MSS
• Handle Payroll and Time Management schema customization, including Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for development and solution validation
• Ensure effective integration between SAP HCM and other SAP modules
• Lead and mentor SAP HCM consultants while ensuring delivery quality and project timelines
• Manage client communications and senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive process improvements and recommend SAP best practices aligned with business requirements
• Support pre-sales, solution demonstrations, estimations, and SAP HCM practice development initiatives

Required Skills

• 15–16 years of hands-on SAP HCM experience
• Strong functional expertise in Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), India Payroll, ESS and MSS
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP HCM implementations in PSU/Government organizations
• Experience in at least 1–2 SAP Public Cloud projects
• Strong expertise in requirement gathering, blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Hands-on experience with Payroll/Time schemas and PCRs
• Strong understanding of SAP HCM integration with other SAP modules
• Experience leading SAP HCM teams and managing client-facing engagements
• Exposure to implementation, rollout, AMS, and upgrade projects
• Excellent communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• SAP HCM Certification – Mandatory
