Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration activities as part of a large-scale S/4 transformation program
• Participate in data center migration involving 300+ servers, including application and database servers
• Manage SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades, and migration activities during the data center move
• Work closely with infrastructure teams during VMotion migration of application servers to the new data center
• Perform database rebuild and installation for SAP HANA systems on new servers using the latest supported versions of SAP HANA and RedHat OS
• Support migration of HANA database servers and MaxDB/SQL servers as part of the infrastructure transformation
• Ensure system stability, performance optimization, and post-migration validation
• Coordinate with global teams across US and Belgium data centers during migration planning and execution
• Provide troubleshooting support during migration, cutover, and stabilization phases
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and system architecture details

Required Skills

• Strong SAP Basis experience (8–12 years) with enterprise SAP landscapes
• Mandatory experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration and installations
• Experience with data center migration and infrastructure transformation projects
• Knowledge of RedHat Linux OS and SAP HANA platform setup
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP environments (300+ servers preferred)
• Understanding of MaxDB / SQL database environments in SAP landscapes
• Ability to work in rotational shifts supporting global migration activities
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills
